Orange Chicken Recipe

Orange Chicken Recipe 

Serves 4

  • 8 pieces of chicken (legs & thigh)
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon wine
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon curry powder
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 3 tablespoon cornstarch
1. In a bowl mix orange juice with seasonings (except flour and cornstarch). Add egg. then add chicken pieces. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
2.Add flour and cornstarch into chicken pieces and mix well. Deep fry chicken into oil till its ready.

Good recipe but the curry powder over took all the taste. I will be making this again except i will leave out the curry powder. Also made an orange sauce with a cup o orange juice and a tablespoon of cornstarch cook over medium heat until translucent. Made for a wonderful meal.

HI you can use cooking wine, or rice wine.

so you cut the bones out of the thighs and legs and then cut into chunks? I'm a little confused.
